Project Description
As part of the ESA GDA program, ARGANS is leading the Disaster Resilience (DR) use case and collaborates with local end-user to provide an assessment of coastal resilience based on EO derived indicators.
Building upon the success of the coastal change from space project (link to web site) the disaster resilience project aims to develop EO-derived products on coastline resistance and wave erosive power for end-user communities to have new and valuable information to better understand coastal dynamics. Using the full archive of optical satellite observations, we have access to 30 years of data and can deliver a full analysis of the coastal system evolution.
