Project Description
HiSea will provide a co-designed service that offers high resolution water quality data at sea used to improve operation, planning and management of different marine activities in sectors such as ports and aquaculture. The aim is to develop, test and demonstrate information services that provides high resolution data of water quality at sea. The services offered by HiSea will incorporate and process data that are being obtained through the marine, land and climate services COPERNICUS (the EU Earth Observation and Monitoring service), local monitoring data and advanced modelling. The platform will improve operation, planning and management of different marine activities, with a focus on the usage in the port and aquaculture sectors.
